Tuesday Tip 17

This week's tip is brought to you by the hubs!
Here's his tip when buying wine...  Take a fine point sharpie and write on each bottle where you bought it, cost and why you bought it.  This has been a great system for us since we are newbies when it comes to wine.

On this bottle you can see the hub's handwriting... It says, Total Wine $15.99 and the little note is that we liked it at a tasting.

That's a tip in itself, if you want to find out what wines you like, go to tastings!  Most wine shops offer free wine tasting on the weekends.  Our local Total Wine offers them on Friday and Saturday.  Its a great way to try something before you buy it.  This wine is kind of a splurge, we have saved it for awhile waiting for a semi-special occasion.

Here's a bottle we go at a small wine shop in town called Cellar 101.  It was $10 and was recommended to us by the clerk.

As you can see, we have a small collection of wine.  This fridge was my hubs anniversary present from me.  He loves it!  Notice all those green stickers?  Those are bottles from Total Wine, 10% off any bottle you taste... Win-Win!
